December Birthstone: Turquoise Earrings

Those born in December have the birthstone of Turquoise. This beautiful stone  has been prized through history, and comes in many different shades.  Often the stone will come with matrix marks. These can vary from brown to black and are left over from the rock host.

The earrings are sterling silver, coated with rhodium to prevent tarnish, and fasten on the back using a post and butterfly.
